At FieldPro Labradors, the health and well-being of our dogs is a top priority. We make breeding decisions based on health testing, temperament, and long-term soundness, and we are committed to transparency with prospective owners.
All breeding dogs are health tested in accordance with Labrador Retriever breed recommendations. Testing may include hips, elbows, eyes, and relevant genetic screenings. Results are available upon request or through public databases when applicable.
Some of our dogs may be carriers of known recessive genetic conditions such as CNM or EIC. A carrier dog is healthy and unaffected. We only breed carriers to clear partners, ensuring that no affected puppies are produced. All breedings are planned with genetic compatibility in mind.
Puppies are sold with a health guarantee covering serious hereditary conditions diagnosed within the first 27 months of life. Full terms are outlined in the purchase contract.
We breed selectively and do not produce litters unless we believe a pairing contributes positively to our program. Planned breedings may change based on health results, timing, or the best interests of the dogs involved.

Proper care, nutrition, and veterinary attention are essential to a dog’s long-term health. Owners are expected to provide appropriate training, exercise, and routine veterinary care.
We consider each puppy a lifetime responsibility. If circumstances ever change and an owner can no longer keep their dog, FieldPro Labradors requires that the dog be returned to us or that we assist with rehoming.
We welcome questions and are happy to discuss our health testing, breeding decisions, and guarantees in more detail.
